Apply for a Permit

From the homepage of ACA, hover over 'Advanced Search' to generate a dropdown menu. Hover over 'Search Records/Application' in the dropdown menu, and click on what type of permit you would like to search (Building, Planning, etc.)

*Tip: To get all permits for a property, you need to search each permit type one at a time.

Enter the street number of the property, and the street name in their boxes. Click 'Search.'

*Tip: Only enter the street number and the street name. To search 123 East Micheltorena Street, only enter '123' in the first Street Number box, and only enter 'Micheltorena' in the Street Name box.

Explore the permits that appear below by clicking the blue-highlighted 'Permit Number.'

*Tip: If no permits appear after you've checked the address, the address you entered might be under a different address in the City MAPS program. Some properties have no recent permits to show, so it would be best to head to the Property Records Database for more information for older permits.

Scroll to the very bottom of the Permit Record page, and click the 'Print/View Summary' button. Wait for it to load to view or print.
