Pre-Application Process

Submit Pre-Application

For business with an existing parklet as of January 1, 2024:  Businesses interested in obtaining a Parklet License must submit a Preliminary (PRE) Application by February 1, 2024. The Pre-Application process will determine if a parklet is feasible in the location before investing the time and expense of drafting complete plans and submitting a full application. City staff will review the parklet and advise the applicant on location specific requirements, determine the allowable size and location, and advise on the required permitting and design review path.

To complete your Pre-Application, the following must be submitted before February 1, 2024:

  • Online Preliminary Application form.
  • Photograph of existing parklet, clearly showing where the parklet is located in relation to your business.
  • The Pre-Application fee of $514.00 is required to complete your pre-application.  Fees may be paid online with Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Card, or by check through the mail.
