Final List of Candidates - By District
2021 - All voters in the City of Santa Barbara will be receiving a ballot with prepaid postage to vote on a Mayoral candidate. In addition to the City-wide Mayoral race, voters in Districts 4, 5, and 6 will also be electing a Councilmember to represent their respective District.

The Filer Access Portal is a web-based, data entry filing system that allows candidates and campaign committees to submit disclosure reports mandated by California's Political Reform Act to the Electronic Filing System free of charge.
Use the Filer Access Portal to create electronic campaign statements. Before you begin you must have received your Electronic Filing System filer identification number and password. To get a filer identification number and password for your committee, call the City of Santa Barbara, City Clerk's Office at (805) 564-5309.

All registered voters in the City of Santa Barbara will receive a ballot this year to elect the Mayor. Additionally, voters in Districts 4 (Riviera/San Roque), 5 (Hope/La Cumbre), and 6 (Downtown) will also have the opportunity to vote for City Councilmembers for their districts*:
District 1 - Mayor
District 2 - Mayor
District 3 - Mayor
District 4 - Mayor and 4th District City Councilmember
District 5 - Mayor and 5th District City Councilmember
District 6 - Mayor and 6th District City Councilmember
*Per the City Charter, City Council candidates must reside in, and be elected from, one of six City neighborhoods.
