Residential Rebates

• Sustainable Lawn Replacement Rebate (and Lawn to Rain Garden)
  Replace your water-thirsty lawn with water-wise plants and receive a rebate of $2/square foot. Rebate amount is based upon square footage of lawn removed. Projects must be approved in advance. NEW: combine rebates for a lawn to rain garden rebate of up to $5/square foot.
• Irrigation Efficiency Rebates
  Improve your landscape water efficiency through our suite of irrigation efficiency rebates for projects such as drip irrigation conversion, low-precipitation nozzles, smart irrigation controllers, and graywater systems. One or more rebates can be selected based on eligibility.
• Flume Smart Home Water System Rebate
  Catch water leaks quickly and monitor your water use with the Flume meter attachment and smartphone app. City customers can get Flume for $115 plus tax and shipping and can easily install it in under 10 minutes.
• High Efficiency Clothes Washer Rebate
  $150 rebate for a high efficiency clothes washer. Only applicable on eligible models and for replacing an existing high-water using washer.
• Mulch Delivery Rebate
  The City will reimburse customers up to $45 per delivery for a maximum of $90 (two dump truck loads), per site, per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) of the County's mulch.
• Rain Barrel, Pavement Removal, & Disconnected Downspout Rebate
  The Creeks Division provides incentives to help offset the cost of installing storm water capture devices. These measures collect storm water runoff and filter out pollutants that would otherwise end up flowing into our creeks and ocean.
• Heat Pump Water Heater Rebate 
  Take advantage of Santa Barbara Clean Energy's rebate program to switch from a gas water heater to an efficient heat pump water heater and reduce your home's carbon footprint by approximately 50%. 

Commercial Rebates

• Irrigation Efficiency Rebates
  Improve your landscape water efficiency through our suite of irrigation efficiency rebates for projects such as drip irrigation conversion, low-precipitation nozzles, smart irrigation controllers, and graywater systems.  One or more rebates can be selected based on eligibility.

• Survey and Incentive Program for Commercial/Industrial/Institutional Customers 
  Sign your facility up for a free full-site water use survey to identify ways to increase efficiency and save money on your water, sewer, and energy bills. In addition, your facility may be eligible for monetary incentives from the City to make the recommended efficiency upgrades.
• Mulch Delivery Rebate
