630 Garden Street along with most city administrative offices are closed for the holidays starting December 19, 2025, through January 2, 2026. Offices will resume business on Monday, January 5, 2025. For more details, read the LDT End of the Year Bulletin or visit the city’s Winter Holiday Closures page.

Counter staff are available to answer general questions through virtual appointments, during walk-in hours, as well as through phone or email.

Virtual Appointments

Virtual counter services are available Monday - Thursday, and alternating Fridays, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Talk to City staff where you can share computer screens via Zoom. Appointments are scheduled for 20 minutes to answer general questions.

Phone & Email

Phone and email service are available Monday - Thursday, and alternating Fridays, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. If we don't pick up when you call, leave your name, contact information, and a brief message, and we will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.

Walk-In Hours

Building & Safety, Planning, and Public Works permit counters at 630 Garden Street are open for walk-ins Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon, and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. No appointment is required.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up

The south lobby of 630 Garden St, near the David Gebhard Public Meeting Room, is open for drop-off and pick-up needs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and alternate Fridays.
