Utility Billing Debt Collection Notice from Continental Credit Control

If an account balance for water, sewer, or trash services remains unpaid after service has been disconnected, or if an account is closed and a balance is still outstanding 90 days past the final due date, the account will be referred to a collection's agency for further action. This process ensures that unresolved balances are addressed and may impact the customer’s credit standing. Customers are encouraged to settle all outstanding amounts promptly to avoid escalation to collections.

Continental Credit Control is a debt collection agency attempting to collect a debt that is owed to the City of Santa Barbara. If you are receiving a notice, then your utility account balance is outstanding 90 days past the final due date. All questions or payments should be directed to Continental Credit Control. Payment by credit card or electronic funds transfer can be made online at www.cccassist.com.
