Each year, chipping services are offered to those homeowners who reside within the Wildland Fire Suppression Assessment District located in portions of the Foothill and Extreme Foothill High Fire Hazard Areas of Santa Barbara’s foothills. Chipping services are provided to encourage property owners to create a defensible space and provide a cost effective way to dispose of cut material.

Chipping Complete for 2021!
We would like to thank all homeowners within the Wildland Fire Suppression Assessment District that utilized our chipping services this year in order to help dispose of their cut vegetation created by maintaining their Defensible Space areas around their home. This year we successfully chipped over 400 tons of cut vegetation. Since 2008 we have successfully chipped and removed over 5300 tons of vegetation as part of the annual chipping services. Additionally, we were able to recycle 100% of the chipped material as mulch which was given to homeowners.
