Downtown Parking Employment Opportunities

The Downtown Parking team strives to provide excellent service to the public by focusing on providing accurate and thorough information, completing efficient transactions, and improving our programs.

The Permit Counter team acts as the hub of information for all of the Downtown Parking programs.  As a member of this team, you will interact with the public in-person, online, and over the telephone.  You will educate our customers on which of our programs would best suit their needs and help them through the various application processes.  You will use multiple databases of detailed information and work with the team to maintain the high level of organization necessary to keep our many programs running smoothly.  You will process payments and help customers understand their invoices and account status.

Flexibility is vital.  We are an evolving organization, working towards modernization of our processes including implementing new technology.  Your focus will be on the customer; working to uphold Downtown Parking’s long-held commitment to top-level service.  Patience, kindness, humor, attention to detail, an interest in working as a team - but with the ability to self-start, a creative problem solver with a strong desire to help, are all attributes which will lead to success in this position.  Spanish speaking and writing skills are desirable as we strive to provide the Downtown Parking standard of service to every member of our community.
