Section of Cliff Drive Closed to Traffic August 28 - 31 (ENG/SPA)

The City Street Operations Production Paving Crew will be closing Cliff Drive to traffic between Alan Road and Marina Drive (see map) from Monday, August 28 through Thursday, August 31. City crews will be grinding and repaving the road between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m., however, hours are subject to change due to weather or any unforeseen complications. Cliff Drive will be accessible to vehicles during non-construction hours.  

Please see map for paving schedule:  

  • Monday 8/28: Northbound Lane of Cliff Drive between Alan Road and Yankee Farm Road. (royal blue on map)

  • Tuesday 8/29: Southbound Lane of Cliff Drive between Alan Road and Yankee Farm Road. (green on map)

  • Wednesday 8/30: Northbound Lane of Cliff Drive between Yankee Farm Road and Marina Drive. (red on map)

  • Thursday 8/31: Southbound Lane of Cliff Drive between Yankee Farm Road and Marina Drive. (light blue on map)

Homeowners on Sea Ledge Lane will have access to their property through Cliff Drive via the following streets:  

  • Monday, August 28 and Tuesday, August 29 via Marina Drive.  

  • Wednesday, August 30 via Las Positas Road. 

On Thursday, August 31, there will be no access in or out of Sea Ledge Lane between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. 

Homeowners on Yankee Farm Road will have access to their property through Cliff Drive via the following streets:  

  • Monday, August 28 and Tuesday, August 29 via Marina Drive. 

  • Wednesday, August 30 and Thursday, August 31 via Las Positas Road. 

Arroyo Burro Beach County Park and the Boathouse at Hendry’s Beach will be accessible for the duration of construction. Please follow signage from the City crews onsite. We appreciate your patience and understanding during construction. 

Construction Benefits: Grinding and repaving the road will extend the life of the asphalt pavement and smooth the road for a more comfortable and safer ride for the traveling public.
