Santa Barbara Public Library Support Spanish-Speaking Entrepreneurs and Latino Businesses with Free ServSafe Food Handler Certification Review Course

Authored on

Santa Barbara Public Library (SBPL) is excited to announce an upcoming event dedicated to supporting jobseekers, specifically catering to Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs. Through its SBPL Works! program, SBPL is offering a unique opportunity for individuals who aspire to earn their ServSafe Food Handler Certification.

This event not only provides free access to the ServSafe Food Handler Course but also includes a tailored review session facilitated by the Library staff. The class will provide computer access to complete the online, Spanish-language class, followed by a practice test and review session on key concepts in order to enhance their understanding, followed by taking the official exam.

"We recognize the importance of supporting our diverse community, especially Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs. This event is a testament to our commitment to providing resources and opportunities that empower individuals on their career paths," said Library Director Jessica Cadiente.

Don't miss this chance to invest in your career, unlock new opportunities, and contribute to the success of Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs and Latino businesses in Santa Barbara. Join SBPL Works! on Tuesday, November 21, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., for an event that combines education, community support, and professional growth.
