City staff incorporated that feedback by expanding references to the California Values Act and the Supremacy Clause, and by updating sections on data privacy, non-cooperation, use of City facilities, public safety responsibilities, and preservation of peace. New sections address community events, City response on City property, complaint processes, signage, outreach, reporting, Council notification, and election-related safety.
The recommended action has no direct financial impact. City leadership will continue working with local organizations to address concerns, correct misinformation, and support community needs through in-kind contributions and public-private partnerships.
