City TV Production Supervisor
During the 33 years Tony has worked for City TV, he has maintained a high standard for City TV productions, including the live broadcast of City Council and other public meetings. He is proud of the role that City TV plays in serving the public information needs of the Santa Barbara community. Tony enjoys golfing, hiking, camping, and spending time with his wife, Julie, and children, Sam and Quincy.
Janet Ahern
City TV Production Specialist
Janet has over 14 years of experience working in Public, Educational, and Government cable access television in Ohio and Illinois. She also worked in the academic world as a Television Production Specialist for over 10 years. She enjoys traveling overseas with her daughter, Jennifer.
Joshua Romero
City TV Production Aide - Lead
Born and raised in Santa Barbara, Josh is now working towards his Associates Degree in Film Production at Santa Barbara City College, while also gaining work experience at City TV. His fascination in video production grew because of his growing interest in technology and YouTube product reviews. He then served 2 years as a volunteer for the video production team at his church, where he gained experience in live broadcast and video production. He enjoys online gaming with friends as well as going to Chick Fil for lunch.
Kacey Drescher
Communications Specialist
Kacey connects government and the community through social media, storytelling, and official messaging for the City of Santa Barbara so that transparency is fostered and people feel connected to their City. She has an extensive background in journalism, with 11 years of broadcasting experience as a television reporter and anchor, most recently working at KEYT in Santa Barbara. The instrumental coverage Kacey provided during the devastating Thomas Fire and Montecito Mudslide earned her a Golden Mike Award and she was honored to be a part of KEYT’s Emmy Award-winning news team. A proud Air Force wife, Kacey is thrilled to be serving her community and utilizing her skill set on the West Coast after reporting in Montana and Alabama.
