Serious Injury Collision – North La Cumbre Road

On October 13, 2023, at 9:00 p.m., the Santa Barbara Police Department received reports of a serious injury traffic collision that occurred in the 1st North block of La Cumbre Road, involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

It appears at this time, that the pedestrian was walking in the roadway when a vehicle struck them causing serious injury. The pedestrian was transported to Cottage Hospital Emergency Room for treatment and their current condition is unknown.

Driving under the influence does not appear to be a factor involved in this collision and the driver involved was cooperative during the investigation.
