Draft 2026 Annual Action Plan Now Available

The Draft 2026 Annual Action Plan is now available for public review and comment. As a recipient of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the City must submit an Annual Action Plan (AAP), which specifies the activities that will be undertaken to meet 5-year strategic plan goals. The AAP details the planned expenditures of approximately $2.54 million in CDBG and HOME funds for eligible activities such as housing, public services, capital improvements, economic development, and administration.

The Draft AAP for Program Year 2026 will be available for a 30-day public review period from April 15, 2026, through May 17, 2026. Written comments will be accepted during this period by email at HHS@SantaBarbaraCA.gov.
