Pre-Construction Notice for the Grove Lane Neighborhood

The City of Santa Barbara Production Paving Team will begin Phase I of the paving project in the Grove Lane neighborhood from mid-March to early April. Work will take place Monday through Thursday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Please refer to the map below and the following streets that will be impacted:

  • Friar Lane
  • Foxen Drive
  • Essex Street
  • Dixon Street
  • Coral Street
  • Brent Street
  • Avon Lane
  • Capri Drive
  • Adair Drive
  • Eileen Way
  • Sunset Drive
  • Woodley Court

WHAT TO EXPECT: This project consists of five phases: repairing damaged road sections, lowering utilities, milling the road surface, paving, and raising utilities back to grade. Your driveway will remain accessible throughout all phases of construction, except on designated paving days. 

On PAVING days, driveway access will be temporarily unavailable Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. NO PARKING signs will be posted in all active work areas. Please make sure vehicles are moved outside the designated zones before construction begins each day.
