You’re Invited to Attend an Environmental Impact Review Meeting for the Vic Trace Reservoir Replacement Project

Please join the City of Santa Barbara at two upcoming City-hosted public meetings to learn about the Project and the proposed environmental impacts to be studied in the CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act) Environmental Impact Report (EIR). The CEQA Notice of Preparation (NOP) and Initial Study for the Project are available for review on the City’s Project website at SantaBarbaraCA.gov/VicTrace. The Project will replace the 70-year-old Vic Trace Reservoir and its associated pump station and connect pipelines to ensure reliable and safe drinking water for the future.

In-Person Meeting:
Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Location: Louise Lowry Davis Center
111 W. Victoria Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 (parking available onsite)

Virtual Meeting via Zoom:
Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

City staff are seeking public comments and feedback to ensure the City has considered all the environmental issues that should be studied in the EIR.
