Authored on
Body

The City of Santa Barbara’s Public Works Department, Engineering Division will be presenting updates on the Vic Trace Reservoir Replacement Project (Project) at the Water Commission Meeting held Thursday, October 16 beginning at 9:00 A.M. Please note the Vic Trace Project Update is item five on the agenda; the full agenda can be viewed at SantaBarbaraCA.gov/WC.

The purpose of the presentation is to provide Water Commission with project status updates as well as more information on the proposed contractor selection process, Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR). CMAR is a construction project delivery method in which the City hires the construction contractor to be part of the design phase for a more seamless construction. This delivery method benefits both the City and the community by providing early constructability input on the design, budget and schedule.

The public is invited to attend the meeting in-person or via Zoom and provide public comments to the Water Commission. Meetings are held at the David Gebhard Public Meeting Room at 630 Garden Street in Santa Barbara.
