Library Garage Closure August 19-21
The Library Garage (Lot 7) will be fully closed from Tuesday, August 19, through Thursday, August 21, for maintenance work. During this time, we recommend parking in the Granada Garage (Lot 6). Limited timed street parking is also available nearby. We appreciate your patience as we complete these improvements.
Library Visitors:
Central Library will be open during this work. However, the outdoor book return on Library Avenue will be unavailable for the duration of construction.
Library materials can be returned:
- To the outdoor book returns on Anapamu Street
- Inside the library during open hours
- Or at any other library location and the Library on the Go.

Park once and enjoy it all! Shopping, art, entertainment, history, and restaurants are all within an easy walk from Santa Barbara’s public parking lots. Enjoy the beautiful paseos connecting lots and garages to State Street. Downtown Parking staff are happy to offer directions and information about destinations not shown on the map.
