Santa Barbara Police Community Academy – This Saturday!

The Santa Barbara Police Department would like to welcome all community members and media to attend the Community Academy this Saturday, November 13, 2021, between 9:00am – 3pm. This event will be held at the Shoreline Community Church Parking Lot (935 San Andres Street, Santa Barbara).

This free event is ideal for community members who want an inside understanding of their police department. This event will introduce participants to various aspects of the Santa Barbara Police Department including Crisis Response, Traffic, Communications, K-9, Investigations and more!

Police Chief Bernard Melekian will be in attendance from 1pm-2pm. Bring some questions you might have and there will be fun activities for the whole family.
