Sheep at Work in Parma Park

We're happy to announce that the sheep are back at work in Parma Park!

When they're finished, the sheep will have cleared all the low-growing plants all the way up to the Parma olive grove—lowering fire danger and maintaining the landscape without the need to use polluting machinery. A dog patrols inside the fence to keep the flock safe, and both dog and sheep come from Cuyama Lamb.

You're very welcome to go visit the sheep, who are currently at work near the Parma Park horse trough, but try not to startle them. If you have a dog with you, please keep it leashed near the sheep, and keep yourself and any animal companions away from the electric fence.
