Winter Essentials Needed
The holiday season, while a time of celebration for many, presents unique challenges for our unhoused neighbors, particularly due to inclement winter weather. The FARO Center is dedicated to providing a safe and warm refuge for individuals experiencing homelessness. To support this mission and help prepare the Center for winter, donations of physical items are welcome and can be dropped off directly at the facility. Winter poses significant hardships for unsheltered individuals, including increased risks of hypothermia and frostbite, limited access to dry clothing and warm sleeping spaces, heightened difficulty maintaining employment due to weather-related challenges, and higher rates of respiratory infections and flu. Your contributions can make a meaningful difference during this critical time.
