Do you enjoy learning about local water and wastewater issues? Do you have expertise or interest in water resources? Do you love the public process and want to work a few more public meetings into your life? Well then, do we have the volunteer opportunity for you!

There is one opening on the City of Santa Barbara Water Commission; applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 19. 

Water Commission meetings are scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on the third Thursday of every month, and Commissioners must attend meetings in person (meetings usually last less than two hours and are located at 630 Garden Street downtown).  A passion for water issues is highly desired, but prior water experience is unnecessary. Learn more about the role of the City's Water Commission.
