Updating the Landscape Design Standards for Water Conservation
As a valued member of the Santa Barbara design community, we invite you to share your input on the proposed revisions to the City’s Landscape Design Standards for Water Conservation (LDS). The City’s LDS were last revised in 2008; after 14 years the standards are due for an update, especially as irrigation technology has become more efficient. We are also closer aligning with the California State Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance (MWELO) which was revised in 2015.
