Students Gain Experience with the City's Job Apprenticeship Program

Each summer, a group of young people train on the job at various City departments, learning about career options as they develop important job skills. This summer's class of 16 apprentices had successful outcomes. The Job Apprenticeship Program accepts participants based on referrals, and focuses on creating opportunities for low-income youth and early adults.
