A public hearing is scheduled on October 28 to consider amendments to the Municipal Code to implement Senate Bill 9 (SB 9), which allows lot splits and two-unit residential projects in single-family zones to be approved ministerially, without discretionary review or a public hearing. SB 9 becomes effective on January 1, 2022.
