Register for Community Meeting!
The City of Santa Barbara will hold both an online and open-house public meeting to review the Westside and Lower West Neighborhoods Transportation Management Plan Implementation Project (Project), which will provide safe pedestrian and bicycle routes to schools, parks, and neighborhood services, as well as complete major infrastructure gaps. The Project recently received grant funding and the City welcomes the community to review the preliminary design and provide feedback. Ambas reuniones contarán con interpretación al español.
Meet Online: Wednesday, January 17, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
This session will be held online using the Zoom platform. Participants will be able to watch the presentation and submit questions and comments. No webcams or microphones necessary. Click here to register.
Meet in Person: Wednesday, January 24, 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at La Cumbre Junior High, 2255 Modoc Road.
Please come by the open house, learn about the Project, meet the City’s Project team, review the preliminary design, and provide feedback.
Construction is anticipated to begin in 2027.

La ciudad de Santa Bárbara sostendrá una reunión pública en línea y una reunión abierta al público para revisar el Proyecto de Implementación del Plan de Gestión del Transporte de los Barrios Westside y Lower West (Proyecto), que proporcionará rutas seguras para peatones y ciclistas a las escuelas, parques y servicios vecinales, así como completar importantes brechas de infraestructura. Reunión en Línea: Miércoles 17 de enero de 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Esta sesión se llevará a cabo en línea utilizando la plataforma ZOOM. Los participantes podrán ver la presentación y enviar preguntas y comentarios. No se necesitan cámaras web ni micrófonos.
Reunión en Persona: Miércoles, 24 de enero, 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. en La Cumbre Junior High, 2255 Modoc Road. Visite la jornada de puertas abiertaas, conozca al equipo del proyecto de la ciudad, revise el diseño preliminar, y proporcione comentarios.
Se prevé que la construcción esté prevista para 2027.
