Phase Three of De La Vina Street Water Main Replacement Project Starting Spring 2026

The City aims to replace 2% of our water main pipelines each year to deliver safe and reliable water to our community.  Phase two of the De La Vina Street Water Main Replacement Project, which involved replacing the water main from Micheltorena Street to Constance Avenue, is now complete. The third phase will construct pedestrian safety enhancements at intersections along De La Vina Street. Phase three construction is anticipated to start in spring 2026.

Work will take place at the following De La Vina Street intersections: 

  • Valerio St.
  • Islay St.
  • Pedregosa St.
  • Padre St.
  • Los Olivos St.
  • Pueblo St.
  • Junipero St.
  • Constance Ave.
  • Alamar Ave. 

Notices will be delivered to nearby residents ahead of the commencement of phase three.  

Throughout the duration of the Project, construction will take place Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Streets impacted will remain open to traffic, but temporary delays and parking restrictions may occur.
