Night Work Scheduled at Meigs Road and Cliff Drive for Cliff Drive Watermain Replacement Project

The City of Santa Barbara will conduct night work starting mid-August at the intersection of Meigs Road and Cliff Drive as part of the Cliff Drive Watermain Replacement Project. 

To reduce impacts to businesses and daytime traffic and to safely complete critical construction activities, crews will work during the hours of 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The night work is anticipated to be completed by early November, weather and field conditions permitting.

Please expect construction noise, temporary traffic control measures, and possible delays while work is underway. Access for local residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained.  If possible, please consider using an alternate route.

The City appreciates the public's patience and cooperation as these infrastructure improvements are completed to enhance the reliability of the community's water system.
