Milpas Holiday Lighting Project Brings Joy to the Eastside
Each holiday season, the Milpas Eastside Business Association (MEBA) and dedicated community volunteers light up Milpas Street with festive cheer. The Milpas Holiday Lighting Project transforms the corridor from Canon Perdido to the railroad tracks—including the roundabout and underpass—into a glowing symbol of unity, pride, and celebration for Santa Barbara’s Eastside.
This beloved tradition is made possible through the hard work of MEBA and the generous support of local businesses. Their efforts not only brighten the neighborhood but also uplift the spirit of the community, creating a welcoming and joyful atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.
