About the Project
Project benefits include:

  • Reduced risk of leaks and system failures
  • Increased reliability for today’s wastewater demands
  • Improved system monitoring and maintenance access
  • Eliminate service interruptions for repairs and maintenance

The Via Lucero Wastewater Force Main Replacement Project will improve the reliability and long-term performance of the City's wastewater system by replacing aging infrastructure that has reached the end of its useful life. This $4.8 million project is funded by monthly sewer service fees paid by City wastewater customers.

The City appreciates the community's patience during construction activities.
