Continued Ordinance Committee Hearing on the Objective Design and Development Standards

The City is creating objective design standards for multi-unit and mixed-use housing projects to comply with state law, set clear design expectations, streamline design review approval, and make the permitting process more predictable. On October 22, 2024, the City Council Ordinance Committee discussed the Title 25 Objective Design and Development Standards (ODDS) and related amendments to the Title 30 Zoning Ordinance. This hearing was continued to December 3, 2024.  On December 3, staff will answer questions from the Ordinance Committee and request a recommendation for adoption to City Council. Note this meeting will start at 11:30 a.m.
