The City of Santa Barbara is seeking individuals to serve on the various City Advisory Groups. Members of these groups play an important role in shaping our community through active participation. Spring Recruitment

Spring Recruitment schedule is as follows:

Application Deadline:

  • Applications kept on file remain valid for a period of one-year from date of submission and can be used in future recruitments while still valid.

Interviews:

In order to be considered for appointment, all applicants must attend ONE interview from City Council. 

Santa Barbara Youth Council applicants must attend an interview with both the City Council and the current Youth Council.

Applicants do not need to attend for appointments. Notifications will be sent out via email to all applicants to inform them of their application status.

Applications are available year-round and can be submitted at any time. Submitted applications are valid for a period of one-year from the submission date. Applications submitted by the posted Application Deadline will be considered for that current recruitment.
