Meet Michael Vidal

Hello. I'm Michael Vidal and I'm running for Santa Barbara City Council, District 3. I currently serve as a Trustee on the Board of the Santa Barbara County Employees' Retirement System (SBCERS). I am also a proud Board Member of the Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County.

As a small business owner that helps local families and local small businesses with financial planning, I understand the difficulties of growing a family and business. As your City Council representative I will strive to enhance professionalism, clarity, fairness, and bipartisan partnerships to improve government efficiency.

Not one person has all of the answers to the challenges we face. I believe that the only way to make Santa Barbara better is to work together.

My top three priorities to make Santa Barbara and the Third District better are:

  1. Cost of living.
  2. Water.
  3. Public Safety Emergency Responses.
