Harbor Main Lot - Los Baños Pool (125 Harbor Way) - 2 Stations. Harbor EV charging stations are managed by the Waterfront Department and are accessible through the lot towards the boat launch ramp area.
Downtown Parking Committee
Acts as an advisory agency to the City Council concerning the management, maintenance, and operations of the Downtown Public Patron and Commuter Parking lots, including review of operating and capital maintenance budgets, hours of operation, parking fee policies (including 75-minute free policies), and commuting employee parking policies (including shuttle bus programs)
Harbor Commission
Recommend and advise City Council on all matters about the operation of vessels and watercraft within the City harbor. This includes the use, control, operation, promotion, regulation of the harbor, and the construction, improvement, erection, dredging, maintenance, and operation of the harbor and all navigable water, buildings, structures, wharves, docks, piers, warehouses, railroads, appliances, utilities, and facilities relating to the harbor, water commerce, navigation and fishery in and about the harbor.
Transportation & Circulation Committee
The Transportation and Circulation Committee was formed in 1999 by Resolution No. 99-031 on the recommendation of the Circulation Element Implementation Committee. Its purpose is to advise City Council and the Planning Commission on transportation issues, including the Circulation Element to the City General Plan, and various issues dealing with alternate transportation strategies.
The City of Santa Barbara has installed Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) equipment in many of the public parking lots. ALPR works by detecting license plates to determine entry and exit times. The equipment is used to reduce customer wait times and increase convenience for our customers.
