Water Main Replacement on De La Vina Street Between Micheltorena Street and Constance Avenue Starting March 10

Phase one of the project, which involved verifying underground utilities and ordering materials, is now complete. The second phase will be the water main replacement, which is anticipated to begin March 10 and will be completed in fall 2025. Work will take place on De La Vina Street from Constance Avenue to Micheltorena Street. 

Throughout the duration of the project, construction will take place Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Streets impacted will remain open to traffic during construction with driveway access available, but temporary delays and parking restrictions may occur.

Water service may be interrupted while properties are being connected to the new water main. A detailed notice will arrive at the impacted property one day in advance of a proposed service interruption. 

The City aims to replace 2% of our water main pipelines each year to deliver safe and reliable water to the community. We appreciate your patience and understanding while the water infrastructure is being upgraded.
