Report Bee Swarms and Hives for Relocation

As an official Bee City USA, it is City policy to save bees and not exterminate them. We will dispatch beekeepers to assess the situation and have the bees safely relocated. Who to call depends on where you find the bees. If you find a swarm or hive in a public right-of-way, call Vector Control at (805) 564-5596. If you find bees inside a City Water meter box, contact (805) 897-2516 and private property inquiries should be directed to Mosquito and Vector Management District at (805) 969-5050.
