New Look to Our Online Permit Portal!

On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, the City upgraded Accela Citizen Access (ACA), the online permit portal, to have a new user-friendly look and feel for our customers. The new permit portal makes it easier to submit a new building permit, public works permit, fire permit, special event permit, or planning application. It also allows customers to view and manage existing applications. 

An exciting new feature is the “Application Decision Tool” that can help applicants determine if they qualify for any OnDemand building permit (e.g., reroofs, water heaters, etc.). After a trial period, we will continue to roll out additional permit and application types in the Application Decision Tool for other review processes and projects, such as building remodels, design review, sign permits, and others.
