Body

The City of Santa Barbara launched a new website today. Now you can look forward to a more user-friendly experience, including streamlined access to digital tools, improvements to the mobile experience, and resources for all construction and land development projects. This launch is part of the City’s migration to a new website for all City Departments.

A few highlights:

  • For permit counter service information, guidance on how to apply for a permit, appointment scheduling, forms & applications, scheduling inspections, reporting violations, and access to a variety of property research tools, check out the Construction & Land Development page

  • Under the Government tab, check out the City’s Policies and Priorities to learn more about City initiatives that impact future development of the city.

  • Our Department webpages provide information on our core functions and division initiatives.

Check back often as we continue to build out and update our Construction & Land Development webpages to better serve your permitting needs.
