Appointment of New City Planner – Allison DeBusk

Congratulations to Allison DeBusk, the newly appointed City Planner! Allison has been a key member of the City of Santa Barbara’s Planning Division for nearly 20 years and is respected throughout the organization and community for her exemplary customer service skills and content knowledge. She holds a B.A. in Urban Studies and Planning from the University of California San Diego with Department Honors and has a deep understanding of the principles and practices of urban planning. Experienced with many high-profile, complex projects, Allison is respected by customers and colleagues alike for being eminently capable, professional, and solution oriented.

We are delighted that she has accepted this role and look forward to her continued guidance and mentorship of the City’s Planning team.
