Kids' World Playground Closed 11/16-11/30

Kids' World playground will be closed for maintenance 11/16-11/30. Kids’ World playground at Alameda Park will be closed for maintenance from Tuesday, November 16 – Tuesday, November 30, 2021. The playground will reopen on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

If you’re curious about what maintenance we’ll be doing at Kids’ World, you're probably already a Kids' World enthusiast, so you know the playground structures are mostly made of wood. Every couple of years, we need to apply a sealant to the wood to help prevent water damage and rot. The sealant, which is safe to touch and be around once it’s dry, will extend the life of the play structures at Kids’ World. The last time we applied sealant to the wood at Kids’ World was in 2018, so now is the time!
