Housing Element & Climate Action Plan Update Program EIR

The City of Santa Barbara will be the Lead Agency and will prepare a Program Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Housing Element and Climate Action Plan Updates. The Notice of Preparation began a 30-day public comment period on the proposed Program EIR scope of analysis, starting on Monday, April 11, 2022. Comments on the Program EIR scope of analysis are requested to be mailed or emailed no later than Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 4:30 P.M.  Please send your written comments to the attention of Julia Pujo, Environmental Analyst at P.O. Box 1990, Santa Barbara, CA 93102-1990 or JPujo@SantaBarbaraCA.gov.

An environmental scoping hearing to receive public comments on the proposed Program EIR scope of analysis will be held before the Planning Commission on April 21, 2022.  All interested individuals, agencies, and organizations are welcome to provide verbal or written comments to inform the scope of the Program EIR. The project description and potential scope of analysis for the forthcoming Program EIR are described in the Notice of Preparation.
