Changes to Application Fee Collection for Online Permit System (ACA)

In an effort to simplify the Online Building Permit submittal process the Application Submittal Fee will no long be collected. The Application Fee varies depending on the scope of the project, $100 to $1,000.

Under the current fee collection process:

  1. Applicant pays an Application Fee in order to complete their online permit submittal.
  2. The Application Fee is credited towards the Plan Check Fee during the internal permit intake process
  3. The Plan Check Fee is assessed, invoiced, and payment link is emailed to applicant. The Plan Check Fee must be paid prior to completion of the initial plan review. Failure to pay the Plan-Check Fee will result in a Hold placed on your Application, and will not move forward until payment is made.
  4. Final fees are assessed, invoiced, and payment link is emailed to applicant after the plans have been approved by all Divisions.

Under the revised fee collection process:
