Annual 2022-2023 Community Development and Human Services Committee Funding Recommendations

The Santa Barbara City Council established a Fiscal Year 2023 General Fund commitment to support human services programs that provide direct services to low-income City residents. The City solicited proposals from eligible applicants for use of these Human Services and CDBG funds, and after an intensive and thorough review of the submitted applications, the recommended programs are outlined in this report. In the proposed Fiscal Year 2023 City budget, the City Council committed $726,150 in Human Services funding, which is level funding from the current year.
