Project Background:
The East Beach Habitat Restoration Project rehabilitated a 1.1-acre area of beach by removing invasive, non-native ice plant and reintroducing California native coastal dune species. Twelve pounds of native seeds and 3,200 container plants have been planted, and all plants have been successfully established.
