630 Garden Street along with most city administrative offices are closed for the holidays starting December 19, 2025, through January 2, 2026. Offices will resume business on Monday, January 5, 2025. What We Do

  • We promote and facilitate affordable housing ownership for various income categories. We work with the local housing authority and other entities to regulate affordable multi-family rental units.
     
  • We manage the Human Services and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs which award grants to help support local non-profit organizations that provide social services to low- and moderate-income residents.
     
  • We are dedicated to resolving rental housing disputes by offering mediation services and information on Landlord-Tenant rights and responsibilities through the Rental Housing Mediation Program.
