Water Main Replacement on Harbor View Drive and Surrounding Streets Starting Mid-April
WHAT TO EXPECT: Starting mid-April, the water main will be replaced on Harbor View Drive, Scenic Drive, and Country Club Drive, as well as sections of Old Coast Highway and Park Place. Construction will take place Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is anticipated to be completed fall 2026, pending any weather delays.
Impacted streets will be closed to through traffic and driveways will be accessible, but there may be temporary delays and parking restrictions. Local traffic will be allowed to pass; please adhere to the traffic control signs.
Water service may be interrupted while properties are being connected to the new water main. Residents will receive a detailed notice one day in advance of a proposed service interruption. We appreciate your patience and understanding while the water infrastructure is being upgraded for improved reliability.
PROJECT BENEFITS: The City is replacing aging water main infrastructure, including piping, valves, and hydrants, in order to maintain the quality and reliability of water service.
