Purpose and scope
Purpose and scope:

The main access gates are operated during normal business hours, from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. An exception is made when classes are held at the treatment plant outside of normal business hours.

The main access gates are closed on weekends and holidays unless a delivery is expected.

Call button is located on each gate and will call the phones in the Admin, Conference Room, and Maintenance Building. Pressing 0 will open then gate

Procedure
Procedure:
  1. Main Access Gates are to remain open during normal business hours.
  2. All other gates are to remain locked during business hours.
  3. During normal business hours, all facility doors should remain locked if used intermittently.
  4. Swing shift will confirm during their normal rounds that the Main Access Gates are locked at the end of the business day (6:00 PM.)
  5. After business hours all facility doors are to remain locked.
  6. Check in with Contract Security before addressing after-hour alarm conditions.
  7. For planned work after business hours, notify Contract Security.
