• Foam Ban Information Page: Beginning January 1, 2019, vendors and retailers are no longer permitted to distribute or sell foam food and beverage containers in the City of Santa Barbara. Exemptions apply. Follow the link to learn more.
• Plastic Straw, Stirrer, Cutlery Ordinance Information Page: Beginning July 1, 2019 food and beverage vendors are no longer permitted to distribute plastic and bioplastic plastic straws and stirrers in the City of Santa Barbara. Plastic cutlery and all other alternative straws are required to be "upon request" only. Follow the link to learn more.
